Invitation to At Least Two Yearly Social Events
At the pleasure of the Barracks Commanding Officer, Center House Association Members are invited to:
Marine Barracks Birthday Luncheon: Celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the Barracks (31 March 1801), on or about 31 March each year
Post-Parade Season Social/BBQ: Celebration of the end of yet another successful parade season, usually in September
Membership Reunions: CHA holds reunions periodically, with active members eligible to attend
These events -- as well as the capability to connect remotely to other CHA members online through the CHA website's Membership Directory -- offer valuable opportunities for professional networking, mentorship of transitioning Barracks alumni, and cultivating and renewing friendships with fellow Mess mates.
Opportunity for Friday Evening Parade Seats
At the pleasure of the Barracks Commanding Officer, Center House Association Members are invited to:
Obtain prime Friday Evening Parade seats, with an invitation to enjoy post-parade camaraderie at Center House. There are a total of four seats set aside for CHA members per parade.
Invitation to Professional Military Education (PME) Sessions
CHA periodically recruits distinguished guest speakers for Barracks PME sessions, followed by post-PME inter-generational camaraderie at Center House (at which the delicious Center House Ale is featured)
Opportunity to "Give Back" to Center House and the Barracks
CHA offers an avenue to assist the Barracks Commanding Officer's effort to enhance the atmosphere of Center House and its surroundings through fund-raising efforts to support the desired enhancements. CHA's fund-raising efforts especially support a key focus of the Barracks Commanding Officer: to display important Barracks historical artifacts for the enjoyment of all. Under current USMC requirements, these artifacts must be preserved in museum-quality display cases. Additionally, a portion of CHA membership dues/donations is used to sponsor the cost of hosting the currently-serving Barracks Officers during CHA social events.

CHA Board of Director meetings are held at Center House approximately quarterly -- your attendance and involvement in these meetings is welcomed
